• Norwegian Heart Ornaments -- instructions in the craft of making julekurver, small heart-shaped ornaments in paper or red felt.
The idea is often attributed to Hans Christian Andersen. These traditional ornaments are often filled with candy and given at special events, like showers or weddings, or hung on Norwegian Christmas trees.
