Sons of Norway- Mandt Lodge will hold a two-day rosemaling ornament class on November 13 &14, 2021.
The class will be held at the Sons of Norway Mandt Lodge - 317 Page Street, Stoughton, Wisconsin 53589.
Class Fee: $75.00 Sons of Norway Members and Seniors (age 55 & over) and
$100.00 Non-members (Sons of Norway).
Registration form and payment due: October 15, 2021 ($25.00 of this class fee is non-refundable if you cancel or do not show up for class)
Please contact Nancy Odalen at naodalen@charter.net or 608-873-0890 for details. This is the first time that we are offering this class. Students will be responsible for bringing their own paint supplies. However, we will offer to provide the oil paint, brush cleaner, oil, and other supplies you will need at an additional charge of $10.00. The ornaments (blanks) will be available for purchase. They will be already back-grounded so students will not have to bring additional supplies for the back-grounding process. The cost for each ornament (blank) will be $2.50. Classes are dependent upon enrollment. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, payment will be refunded in full.
Kathy Julseth and Nancy Odalen will be teaching this class. This is a class for all levels of experience.
We will be working on 4 different ornaments, 2 will be taught by each instructor.
The instructors will have ornaments for purchase at the class that are already backgrounded.
Please let us know if you would like us to supply your oil paints. We will send out a supply list on October 16, 2021 with all the information you will need to prepare for this class. This will be an interesting, fun and informative class that will get you in the holiday spirit!
