Includes:  Handouts, designs, and paint to be used in class.  Oils and acrylics can be used.  Instructor will be using Acrylics. 
If you want to use oils, please bring your own.

The three-day class will be a 10” Rogaland Plate. 
A variety of 10” plates will be available for purchase. 
You may pay for the plate when registering, but select the plate and design you wish to paint at the beginning of the class.

Beginning painters may use the paint that will be provided in the class and then purchase their own paint at a later date.  The paint is also available for use in class by the more experienced painters.  Brushes, other pieces of woodenware, books,etc. will be available for purchase at the class.

 About the instructor:  Lois Mueller VGM, a Vesterheim Gold Medalist, has been painting since 1977, studying with various American and Norwegian instructors. She has been teaching since 1979. She has taught at Vesterheim as well as various Sons of Norway Lodges, Rosemaling and Decorative Painting Associations, and galleries in the US, Canada, and Taiwan.  She was the chairman of several of the Rosemaling Coast to Coast Conventions.  She has written 9 rosemaling instruction books and taped a DVD for beginning Transparent Telemark Scrolls and Flowers.  Lois and her husband Ron, exhibit at many Scandinavian Festivals and Events.  She was invited to be a part of Wisconsinfolks.com website, which is sponsored by the Wisconsin Art Board.  She has been a Master Artist to an apprentice with a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board and The National Endowment For the Arts.
