Sons of Norway-Mandt Lodge has seats available for our annual trip to Decorah for the Luther College Christmas Concert Full Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday, Dec.3rd.
The bus will leave Stoughton at 8:30 AM and leave Verona at 9:00 AM and return about 9:00 PM.
The cost includes the bus ride, snacks/refreshments on the bus and driver tip: there is an option to enjoy a group lunch. There is no admission for the concert and the Director of Music reserves a section of seats for our group. This concert is a wonderful way to start the holiday season and we invite you to join us!

8:30 AM -Leave Coachman’s Golf Resort Parking Lot in Stoughton
9:00 AM-Leave Verona Park N Ride
11:45 AM-Arrive in Decorah Drop off Group ONE by Vesterheim Museum; time for visiting Vesterheim, shopping and lunch on your own Group TWO remains on bus and will go to Toppling Goliath Brewery for group lunch
2:45 PM Group TWO leave Toppling Goliath.
3:00 PM - Pick up Group ONE at same place where dropped off. Drive to Luther College for Dress Rehearsal of Christmas at Luther Concert beginning at 4:15 PM. It’s a good day to wear those Norwegian sweaters!
NOTE: this is a dress rehearsal, not a formal concert. The Director of Music at Luther will reserve a section of seats for our group & there is no admission fee for this performance
6:30 PM (or so) Load bus at Luther & return to Verona/Stoughton arriving around 9:30 PM, depending on the time the performance ends and a bathroom break before departure
Costs: There will be two prices, depending on if guests want to spend time in Decorah and have lunch on their own (Group ONE)
or Go to Toppling Goliath for lunch (GROUP TWO).
GROUP ONE:
$45 for Mandt Lodge members, $50 for Sons of Norway members (any other lodges) and $55 for non-members. The amount includes your bus ride, driver tip and snacks/refreshments on the bus.
GROUP TWO:
$62 for Mandt Lodge members, $67 for Sons of Norway members (any other lodges) and $72 for non-members. The amount includes your bus ride, driver tip, snacks/refreshments on bus and lunch (including gratuity).
**Note: beverages not included in lunch price.
Reservations for the 56 passenger bus are on a first-come, first serve basis and must be paid at the time of reserving a seat.
1st pick up at Coachman’s Golf Resort 984 County Rd. A, Edgerton (I-90: Exit 156 & Hwy 51 east of Stoughton);
2nd pick up at Verona Park N Ride (701 OLD PB intersection with Verona Avenue on east side of Verona).
