Askeladden Lodge is organizing a special event celebrating the 200th anniversary of the start of the mass emigration of Norwegians to North America. Along with a catered dinner, on Wednesday, October 8, the play The Uprooting will be performed at the Portage Zane Senior Center. Tickets for the event are $10 each and reservations are being taken now through September 30 on a first-come first-served basis. Tickets are expected to sell out, so don't wait.
