District 5 Board Meeting- northern IL (Chicago area)

District 5 Board Meeting Details and Info needed for November 8-9, 2024
Meetings will be held at Chicago Marriott Northwest, 4800 Hoffman Boulevard, Hoffman Estates, IL 60192.
Darlene has a room block of standard king rooms and will turn in your housing needs. Deadline for hotel reservations is October 17.
Please let Darlene know if you want a room and for which nights!
Assuming all board members will be staying at least Friday night- so please confirm!
For those traveling a distance, let Darlene know if you want to come on Thursday night or need Saturday night if a long drive home.
DO NOT call the hotel to make a reservation- give your hotel needs and how many and meal choice for meals to Darlene by Sunday, October 13.

Friday
1:00 PM – Meet for board training, updates, and any committees that need to meet in person
2:30 PM – Begin board meeting
5:00 PM – Break for hotel check-in
6:00 PM – Group dinner at nearby restaurant
After supper- socializing either at restaurant, in rooms, or other establishments
Saturday
8 AM - resume business
12 PM- Lunch in the hotel
3:00 PM- goal to adjourn meeting by this time
Spouses/guests are welcome at all the meals and can sit in/observe the meeting if they wish.
Dress- business casual.
Committee Reports- Please have your reports to Darlene by 8 AM on Sunday, November 3.
